We are proud to host the artwork of Suzanne Green on Saturday, May 2 from 10:00-6:00pm during the Greer Family Fest. The late Mrs. Greene was a local artist who had a flavor for capturing on canvas the essence of Greer in not only historic sites, but local individuals.

So what's in a tag line? What exactly does an "Unconfining Space" mean? The answer goes back to when Lindsay was looking for a reception location for our wedding back in 2002. She experienced difficulty finding a location that was reasonably priced, and when she did find something in our price range, the location forced you to use their catering, florist and/or other vendors.
With ever location there was an issue with these "exclusive" vendors we would be required to use. For caterers, either their menu wasn't...

The Davenport hosts Oktoberfest VIP section

Guten Tag! The 3rd Annual Greer Station Oktoberfest, presented by Citizens Building and Loan will be Saturday, October 4, 2008 in Greer’s historic downtown. The Davenport has been selected as the VIP section of Oktoberfest. The overall event will once again feature authentic German music, German food, and German beer.
Not only is the Greer Station Oktoberfest centered around German themes, it will be embracing local artists and celebrating their creative works. Local artists will be displaying their work, including everything from oil paintings, ceramics, photography, woodwork, jewelry all day on downtown Greer.
